At Gardrum school of dog training , I have over 20 yrs experience with military working dogs, police dogs and gundogs, I currently own and work a German Shorthaired Pointer, We at Gardrum pride ourselves on our commitment to provide a professional and exceptional service at all times, be it one to one training or a group of 6 whilst maintaining the highest standard of tuition and results.Our goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of every handler so that they may be proud of their dog.

We provide 1-1 individual training to owners of all breeds of dog in basic obedience, we also specialise in the training of gun dogs especially those of HPR breeds. We help owners to train , understand and create a bond with their dogs .

Jim has been training my 9 month Weimaraner /Gsp puppy Roo.

James has a lovely rapport with dogs. I was left absolutely buzzing after our first session and look forward to the next. As a complete novice I’ve come away with some great advice on what to do between sessions. Just what the west country Gundog owner needs. Thanks Scotland but he’s ours now 😃

Great introductory session with Jim for our 9 month GSP Olaf. Olaf was extremely engaged and clearly felt comfortable with Jim's style straight away. We will definitely be back for more.

Second session done 17th November 2018 and built on the basics of the previous session. Great tips on keeping Olaf's attention, ways to get him back if he bolts off, and heel work. Amazed at the quick reaction he has to the new skills. Plenty homework to do until we are next back!
